Quick Count of Steel Bars
In this blog, we describe one of our customized productivity solutions for quick verification of steel bars. The requirement was to cross verify the number of steel bars quickly using a mobile camera using a single image that is view tolerant, i.e. straight or in an angle.
A customized mobile app was built to take a snapshot using the mobile camera, process the image and give an approximate count of the steel bars. A few sample images are shown below.
In the below image, the measured number of steel rods was 1619 and was within the required tolerance.
