End User License Agreement

Last updated on 16th July, 2026

This End User License Agreement (the "Agreement") is a legal agreement between you and Sacinta ("Sacinta", "Sacinta Services", "we", "us", "our") for the use of Digital Safe Vault (the "Extension"). By installing or using the Extension, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension.

1. License

We grant you a free, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Extension. You may not sell, sublicense, reverse-engineer (except where that restriction is prohibited by law), or redistribute it.

2. Zero-Knowledge; No Recovery

The Extension is fully offline and encrypts your data on your device with a key derived from your master password. We never receive, store, or have access to your master password, encryption keys, or vault contents. If you lose or forget your master password, your data cannot be recovered by us or anyone else. You are solely responsible for remembering your master password and for maintaining your own backups.

3. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for safeguarding your master password and PIN, for the security of your device, and for keeping encrypted backups of your vault. The Extension is a tool to help you store information; you use it at your own discretion and risk.

4. Software Integrity; Genuine Copies

In this Section, "the Software" means the Extension, the standalone Digital Safe Vault application (the "App"), and any use of the two in combination — each of them individually, and both of them together. The obligations and disclaimers below apply to each such case independently.

The Software performs all encryption and decryption on your device, and its security depends on your running a genuine, unmodified copy on a device and browser you control and trust. Your master password, PIN, and decrypted vault contents necessarily pass through the Software while it runs; a copy that has been altered — whether by malware on your device, by a third party, or by being obtained from an unofficial source — could capture them. Encryption protects your stored vault file at rest; it cannot protect against software that has itself been tampered with, or against a compromised device or browser.

You are responsible for obtaining and running only a genuine copy of the Software and for the security of the device and browser on which you run it. We distribute the Software only through our official channels and, where offered, publish checksums and signatures so you can verify that a copy is genuine. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible or liable for any loss, disclosure, or compromise of your master password, keys, or vault data arising from a modified, tampered, or non-genuine copy of the Extension, the App, or their combination, from software obtained from an unofficial source, or from malware or other compromise of your device or browser.

To reduce this risk, we recommend that you:

5. No Warranty

The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost or corrupted.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, loss of access to your vault, or lost profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Extension. Because the Extension is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability shall not exceed USD $0.

Please read this carefully: the Extension is zero-knowledge, which means that if you lose or forget your master password and do not have your recovery code, your vault cannot be recovered — by you, by us, or by anyone. There is no backdoor, no reset link, and no support process that can restore access.

7. Privacy

The Extension does not collect or transmit your personal data. See our Privacy Policy.

8. Third-Party Components

The Extension includes open-source libraries under their respective licenses (for example, SheetJS under Apache-2.0 and tldts under MIT).

9. Changes; Termination

We may update the Extension and this Agreement from time to time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. You may stop using and uninstall the Extension at any time.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of India and the State of Telangana, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hyderabad, India.
